Daily Style Tip (4/12/12)

Tip # 5

Accessories are the final touch to any outfit. Choose wisely, and always remove one before leaving the house.

Your Miranda Rights.

No, you don't have to be silent, or have nasty red wrist marks from those awful handcuffs.
These are the Style Miranda Rights! Rightfully named so after the glorious fashion icon, Miranda Kerr!

I mean seriously, how can we compete with a woman who is this sexy WHILE BREAST FEEDING?!

1.) You have the right to great quality products.
2.)Anything of lower quality can and will be used only in emergency or for certain occasions.
3.) You have the right (AND SHOULD ALWAYS USE IT!) to talk to a stylist, make up artist, or any other fashion guru.
4.) If you cannot find one of these lovely people then you should definitely check out your local mall. Go to the makeup counter of a store and look for someone who has similar style you like, and vice versa when looking for clothes or a new hairstyle. (Oh, and you can always ask me!)
5.) You can decide at anytime to use these rights to your full fashion advantage, and I advise you to do so! Always Ask questions and always, always, always make a statement!

Daily Style Tip 4/11/12

Tip #4
If you feel like you look great, you probably do. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.*
*unless that person is your stylist.

RIP Style Icon.

Today we go back in time and look at a handsome style icon from a period much different than our own.

Count Robert De Montesquiou (1855-1921)

This fabulous style icon was a Dandy, Aesthete, and Sometimes A poet.

He modeled for Dumas' Musketeer. Robert had large control over both fashionable and literary circles. He wrote and wasn't quite received well in the written world, but all o the ladies from fashionable backgrounds came from all around to hear him read his poetry and see this dashing man. His dressing room was lavish to a t. Decorated with ornate floral painting along the walls and detailed crown molding of delicate hortensias cast in gold and bronze. His wardrobes were all very very large, grand and ornate. Each had a glass door for show casing all of his precious belongings. Especially his neck ties; of which he owned 100.
